Hello Glenmary Families, 

My name is Sheryl Shacklette, and I have recently decided to run for a board member position.  I am looking forward to working with all the elected board members and homeowners in our subdivision to help restore/revive Glenmary back to the place I moved to many years ago.   

    

Having worked as a nurse for 40 years in management, staff and various committee positions, I am used to wearing many hats and working closely with all personality types.  I am organized, committed, passionate and I have the ‘right stuff” to help us regain our beautiful community.   

     

My husband, Jeff, and I moved to Glenmary in December of 1991. We have raised our daughter Kara, our dog Ollie (deceased) and now our grand dog Sasha in our current home.  Jeff and I attended UK (Pharmacy and Nursing) and Kara recently graduated from Auburn Veterinary school.  You may recognize us as we are constantly on dog walks!! 

    

In recent years, there have been many twists and turns, I will work with the newly elected Board leaders to be the voice of the “average” Glenmary resident, in transparent representation.  We love Glenmary, as I know, so many of you do also! I promise to work enthusiastically to get our subdivision back on the best path for all of us!!
